Zoning and the Bar Exam
Sustainability Conference of American Legal Educators (2023)
  • Michael Lewyn
Abstract
The National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE) released a "Content Scope Outline" of changes to the bar exam. In particular, NCBE proposes to stop testing on zoning. In this presentation (and the work in progress on which it is based) I criticize this proposal, on the ground that zoning is far more frequently litigated than other property topics that NCBE plans to continue to test on.
