Abstract

The comprehensive Career Development and Internship Program (CDIP) at the Lewiston-Auburn College Campus of the University of Southern Maine, which serves primarily non-traditional geographically bound students, is grounded in the belief that students prepare for their future professional lives as ethical and civically responsible citizens through opportunities to explore the meaning of work in their lives and experience engagement in their community.
