About Lee Zane

My area of research revolves around entrepreneurs and their ventures. I am working with V.K. Narayanan of Drexel University to complete a review of the methods used in entrepreneurial cognition research. In addition, William Foster of Willamette University and I are working on a paper that uses a scenario to examine the value entrepreneurs and non-entrepreneurs place on components of an opportunity in order to better understand why one person pursues an opportunity and another does not. The next project breaks the social network of founders of technology based firms into multiple sub-networks in order to examine the source of technical and general human capital for the firm. Finally, I plan to examine data from academic based incubators from many countries to better understand the factors leading to success or failure for the firms involved.
