About Leanne Serbulo

Leanne Serbulo teaches in the University Studies, Portland State's interdisciplinary general education program. She holds a doctorate in Urban Studies and Planning with specializations in community development and urban social movements. Her research focuses on racial and economic justice issues in the city and on urban social movements. She has written about far-right/anti-fascist protests, school choice and segregation, the educational impacts of gentrification, police/community relations, housing/homelessness, and how social movements shape cities.
