Abstract
This paper is a presentation of the research that we have worked on throughout our senior year, as college students and as student teachers. The first section is a review of articles that we read in order to provide some background to our study. Following is our methodology results and data analysis, and our conclusions we have drawn from our findings. Mathematical manipulatives are a growing concept in education and we hoped that in performing this study we could discover the effects that resulted from the implementation of manipulatives in the high school geometry classroom. This research has provided some interesting results, which we plan to build upon in our future careers as educators.
