Professor Reed-Huff teaches and conducts research in the areas of wills and trusts, property, and communications law. She joined the College of Law faculty in 2006. Previously, she was a member of the faculty of the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. She previously was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Donald W. VanArtsdalen of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and was an attorney in private practice with the international law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP. While in practice, she represented businesses and financial institutions in various aspects of communications and corporate law.
Professor Reed-Huff earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a juris doctor from the University of Southern California.
Professor Reed-Huff’s scholarly interests include the intersection of communications law and policy and property law. Professor Reed-Huff is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She serves on the executive committee of the Section on Mass Communication Law of the Association of American Law Schools, as well as on a number of other university, law school, national, and local committees and advisory boards.
