This book is aimed at students and other readers introducing themselves to the complexities of globalisation. It focuses on the different forms of law which create the legal infrastructure of economic globalisation and on how they interact with one another. It explains how law is used both to maintain and oppose aspects of globalisation. It also evaluates the governance of the global political economy in terms of the standards of the Rule of Law. Law is a central theme of the book but the text does not have a technical legal approach to the subject and it also deals with globalisation’s broader social, economic and political dimensions. It also examines dispute resolution themes throughout the work.
