About Lauren Sudeall Lucas

My scholarly work has focused on the relationship between rights and identity, looking at the ways in which identity is impacted by the law and how identity should or should not influence legal doctrine. I have also written at the intersection of constitutional law and criminal procedure, with a focus on the right to counsel and indigent defense reform.
