Grasselli Library at John Carroll had experienced flat collections budgets for many years. This past year, we had a 12% cut in our collections budget, and expect further cuts this year in response to the Covid pandemic's effects. We also had lost our entire acquisitions department due to retirements. Fortunately, we were able to respond to these situations with flexibility, in part thanks to processes recently established in collections and acquisitions to inform decision making.
