This folder provides R code and two sample data sets for “Using a network-based approach and targeted maximum likelihood estimation to evaluate the effect of adding pre-exposure prophylaxis to an ongoing Test-and-Treat trial” by Balzer, Staples, Onnela and DeGruttola.

The targeted maximum likelihood estimation (TMLE) for the sample average treatment effect (SATE) is detailed in Balzer L, van der Laan M, Petersen M et al. Adaptive pre-specification in randomized trials with and without pair- matching. Statistics in Medicine 2016; 35(21): 3717-3732.
