About Laura Moyer

Laura Moyer is an associate professor of political science and an affiliate faculty member of Women’s and Gender Studies. Her research primarily focuses on judicial decision making in the U.S. courts of appeals, where she has published work about how small group dynamics influence decision making in legal settings, how legal doctrine is developed and transmitted across legal institutions and actors, and how race and gender affect judicial decision making.
