About Laura Flurry

Dr. Laura Flurry holds a Max P. Watson Jr. Endowed Professorship and is an associate professor of marketing. She received her Ph.D. from Louisiana State University. Her research interests include the influence of children and teens in the purchase decision process, the antecedents and consequences of materialism, adolescent consumer ethics, children’s patronage decisions, the impact of technology on the influence of children in the family, and the effect of consumers’ religiosity on consumer decision making, store patronage, and loyalty. She has published in the Journal of Business Research; Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Consumer Marketiing, Consumption, Markets and Culture; Journal of Consumer Behaviour; Journal of Applied Business Research; Qualitative Market Research: An International Journal and the Journal of Education for Business.
