About Latha Ganti, MD, MS, MBA, FACEP

Dr. Latha Ganti is the Vice Chair for Research & Academic Affairs for the University of Central Florida/HCA Healthcare Emergency Medicine Residency Program of Greater Orlando, and the 2018 recipient of the Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors (CORD) and Clerkship Directors in Emergency Medicine (CDEM) Distinguished Educator Awards.
With over 15 years of emergency medicine experience, Dr. Ganti brings a “can-do!” attitude to most every project in our department, whether it be publishing a paper, navigating research bureaucracy or designing a protocol to address a vexing ED quality or operations concern. In addition to her service to the EM residency program, Dr. Ganti uses her vascular neurology training as an active teacher for our Neurology Residency Program, where she directs the course in clinical and translational science, oversees their research projects, and interviews residency candidates. She is a graduate of the American Academy of Neurology’s Women’s Leaders in Neurology Program.
