About Kevin Youngblood, Ph.D.

My primary research interests include Septuagint Studies, ancient Hebrew and Greek linguistics, Biblical Poetry, Lament Literature, Prophetic Literature, OT Apocrypha & Pseudepigrapha, Old Testament Theology, Biblical Theology, and Theological Aesthetics. My teaching responsibilities are primarily in Old Testament text and biblical languages though I do occasionally crossover to teach New Testament texts such as Apocalyptic Literature (Revelation), Gospel of John, and General Epistles. I also currently serve as the minister for the Westridge Church of Christ in Pocahontas, AR. A number of my blog articles and sermon recordings are available at https://www.westridgechurchofchrist.org/sermons-2/ Thus, I try to balance my academic work with pastoral practice and spiritual formation. My current CV is available below.
