About Kyle G. Boggs

Starting at Boise State University in 2018, Dr. Kyle G. Boggs is currently an assistant professor with the Department of Humanities and Cultural Studies.  He earned his Ph.D. in Rhetoric, Composition, and the Teaching of English from the University of Arizona, and his M.A. in Rhetoric, Writing, and Digital Media Studies from Northern Arizona University along with a graduate certificate in women’s and gender studies. Dr. Boggs has contributed commentary regarding such topics as environmentalism and social action, such as recreational colonialism and water scarcity. As such his research interests include cultural and environmental rhetorics, white settler colonial history, and gender and sexuality studies to name a few. Dr. Boggs is currently affiliated with a number of professional groups including College Composition and Communications, the Cultural Rhetorics Consortium, and the International Society for the Study of Religion, Nature, and Culture.
