About Kwame Akonor

A member of the faculty since 2005, Kwame Akonor, Ph.D. has taught courses in International Relations, Comparative Politics, African Political Economy and Human Rights. In addition to his teaching duties, Dr. Akonor is also the director of the Center for Africana Studies and the African Development Institute, a New York based think tank.
 His most recent article, on the utility and impact of foreign aid to Africa, was published in the Summer 2008 issue of the New York University Journal of International Law & Politics.
