About Kristin Thomanschefsky, PT, DPT, NCS, GCS, CEEAA

Kristin (Johnson) Thomanschefsky joined the faculty in August of 2018 with over 30 years of clinical experience in the areas of neurologic and geriatric rehabilitation, acute care, and home care. She is an ABPTS board-certified clinical specialist in both neurologic and geriatric physical therapy and a certified exercise expert for aging adults (CEEAA). Kristin received a BA in Physical Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica  and a transitional DPT from Regis University. Kristin is currently working toward a PhD in Educational Foundations and Research from the University of North Dakota, where she is earning additional certificates in College Teaching and Learning Analytics. Prior to joining the faculty at St. Kate’s, Dr. Thomanschefsky was a full-time faculty member at the University of North Dakota for two years. Kristin teaches course content in geriatric and neurologic examination and intervention, physical agents, and other relevant areas. Her personal interests include gardening, music, hiking, and travel.
