About Kristin Schweizer

Kristin Schweizer, PT, DPT is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Associate Director of Clinical Education in the Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy at Sacred Heart University. She currently serves on the Board of Examiners for Physical Therapists in the State of CT and serves as CT's delegate to the Physical Therapy Compact Commission. She had previously served as a Director at Large for APTA CT. Kristin is a Trainer for the APTA's Level I Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program and is an APTA Level 1 and 2 Credentialed Clinical Instructor. Her teaching responsibilities include contemporary and professional practice, neuropathology and a neuro-rehabilitation seminar. Research interests include excellence in clinical teaching, factors impacting student success and practice management. She has 10 years of management experience at Norwalk Hospital in the acute care and acute rehabilitation settings and served as the Center Coordinator of Clinical Education.
