About Kristi Thompson

Kristi is currently the Research Data Management librarian at Western University. Her experience includes working as data librarian with statistical consulting support at the University of Windsor, a data consultant at Princeton University, and as a freelance web developer.  Kristi co-edited the book Databrarianship: the Academic Data Librarian in Theory and Practice and has published articles on topics ranging from survey anonymization to data documentation to sports. She has an adjunct appointment in Kinesiology at the University of Windsor. Her Masters in Library Science is from Western and she has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Classical Studies.
