Description
At St. Catherine University, we recognized the importance for students to be able to visualize learning and get acquainted with faculty in the health science and nursing programs. Tours occur either when students are in class and the doors are closed or when the spaces are empty. Outside of each many of our simulation and lab spaces, we have QR codes to be scanned. Each QR code links to a video that includes a faculty member highlighting a learning aspect at St. Kate's followed by a simulated scene with students. I collaborated with marketing, faculty, students, and community members to accomplish this project. It required the scripting of 10 spaces for faculty and the simulated scene. The 10 videos were also combined to create on Overview: Simulation and Interprofessional Learning at St. Kate's. These videos are used by marketing and admissions to recruit and to share about the high quality learning that occurs across our programs.

This is an innovative strategy to create a video tour for recruitment and marketing.
