An efficient method for solving infinite horizon optimal control problems

Abstract
In this paper, an efficient method for numerical solution of infinite horizon optimal control problems
is presented. In the proposed method, we construct the Rational Bobaker functions and the derivative
operational matrix of these functions for the first time. Then they are used to reduces the problem to
that of solving a system of algebraic equations. The main advantages of the present method are obtaining
good results, while the infinite horizon problem is solved on the original time interval of the problem
without transforming it to a infinite one.
