About Kirti Yenkie

My research focuses on leveraging process systems engineering principles in the areas of healthcare and environment. I apply principles from mathematical modeling, numerical methods, optimization (linear, non-linear, and combinatorial) and control, operations research, uncertainty characterization, bioengineering, biomedicine and most importantly chemical engineering in my research. The two major research projects I am currently working on are: (1) Development of computational models and design of customized treatment policies for Cancer Therapeutics, and (2) Design of energy-efficient, cost effective and sustainable wastewater treatment networks for municipal, industrial and domestic systems.
