Proposal for Presentation

Creativity is a necessary skill in today’s work environment, and students who develop a creative mindset will have many opportunities open to them. Introduction to Innovation and Entrepreneurship is the introductory course for the new certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Andrews University. A number of professors collaborated to introduce students to creative processes and guided students in design thinking, creativity, brainstorming, and other means of developing and testing student ideas. The exercises explored in this session may be adapted to other classroom environments where students may benefit from engaging in creative processes.
