About Kimberly C. Kirby

I have over 30 years of experience conducting NIH-funded research in the area of opiate and other substance use disorders. My research focuses on developing adult and family-based treatments and on using technology to disseminate efficacious treatments based on the principles of behavior analysis. I am the Principal Investigator on a NIH center grant that researched methods for helping parents of adolescents and young adults with substance use disorders and developed a resource for families dealing with a loved one suffering with addiction (http://www.familyresourcectr.org/).
