About Khalid Lafdi

Kahlid Lafdi joined the University of Dayton in 2001 as a Professor in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering. He is the Wright Brothers Institute Endowed Chair in Nano Materials and the University of Dayton Research Institute's Carbon Group Leader. His research interests include the process and properties of carbon and nanotechnology, energy storage and conversion, and thermal management. Prior to his current roles, he was a post-doctoral fellow in England and Japan, a researcher for the National Research Center, and a lecturer at Pau University in France. His research in carbon science and technology has been published in more than 200 journals, conference proceedings, and books.
