Vice President of Finance & Administration
Dr. Kevin Reynolds has served several key roles since coming to PSU, including Chemistry Department chair, Interim Dean of the School of Extended Studies, and Vice Provost for Budget Planning and Internationalization in the Office of Academic Affairs. He is currently the Vice President of Finance and Administration, Professor of Chemistry, and Interim Vice President for Research & Strategic Partnerships.
"In my research and administrative roles, I have seen how our faculty and staff are committed to the mission and values of PSU and our engagement with the city of Portland," Reynolds said.
He has worked with the president's leadership team to develop long-term budget planning for PSU's schools and colleges and has been involved in construction projects such as the new Collaborative Life Sciences Building. He also maintains an active chemistry research program funded by the National Institutes of Health.
Reynolds holds bachelor's and doctoral degrees in chemistry from the University of Southampton, England. Before coming to PSU in 2005, he was on the faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University and University of Maryland.
