About Kerry Rohrmeier

I am a geographer whose research in arid cultural landscapes scales from regional planning, to land use planning policy, and to placemaking. I challenge students in field methods and geospatial technology courses to interface with unfamiliar rural and urban physical and social spaces that reveal complexities of our human environment. As a certified planner I strongly advocate for grassroots architectural and urban design interventions toward development of a sustainably built world.
