AbstractOn Sunday, April 11, Sudan will hold its first multiparty election in more than 20 years. The more than 300 Sudanese immigrants who live in a tight-knit community in Kensington, Brooklyn, will be able to vote in the election. Some of them are not sure their vote will count. Dave Sanders, 34, has been photographing Darfurian immigrants in Kensington since late 2008. Over that time, he has captured everything from celebration to political protest.
