About Kenneth Vandergriff

Dr. Vandergriff joined the department in 1996, teaching at the RTP and Pope AFB campuses. He began teaching on main campus in 1999, while continuing at both extended sites. Dr. Vandergriff has served in various academic capacities including Co-Coach of the Ethics Bowl Team (2007-present); Sexual Assault Awareness Week Committee (2014-present); and Faculty Senate, extended campus representative (2007-2009).

Dr. Vandergriff’s publications and presentations include: “When Tolerance and Intolerance Collide: The Limits of Tolerance in a Liberal Democracy,” Oxford Round Table Conference on Religion, Education and the Role of Government.” Lincoln College, Oxford University, (2005); and “Re-Creating David: The David Narratives in Art and Literature.” Review and Expositor 99, (2002).

Dr. Vandergriff is active in numerous areas of church life (Bible study teacher; deacon; moderator; church council chairman and pastor search committee co-chair).
