About Ken Frieden

Professor Frieden teaches Judaic Literature, specializing in Yiddish and Hebrew texts. He has held the B.G. Rudolph Chair in Judaic Studies at Syracuse University since 1993. He also edits a series, Judaic Traditions in Literature, Music, and Art, at Syracuse University Press. In addition to working in the fields of Judaic Studies and Comparative Literature, he is active as a Klezmer clarinetist.
