About Ken Healy

Ken has twenty years experience in higher education. He is Education Technology Manager at CCT College Dublin. Previously he occupied the role of Schools Manager. Prior posts include Registrar at Accounting Technicians Ireland and Programme Leader and Lecturer at Dublin Business School. Ken has an MSc in IT in Education from Trinity College Dublin and is the Institutional Lead for Moodle and Urkund. Ken has lectured in subject areas such as Object-Oriented Programming, Web Design, Database design, Information Systems and Information Management. He currently teaches Computer Programming and Strategic Business IT. Ken makes on-going enhancements to Moodle at CCT including the installation of an accessibility plugin, the activation of the progress tracker and the promotion of H5P. In 2020, Ken completed a digital badge with the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning on programme focused assessment.
