About Ken Conklin

I am a writer living in Botetourt County Virginia where Howard University graduate, Norvel Lee (class of 1953) was born.  I am presently, with the support of his descendants, writing a narrative about his extraordinary life.   I will be highly interested in connecting with folks associated with Howard who can provide context to the times Mr. Lee was there for my narrative.

My past published work consists mostly of humorous commentaries appearing in the Roanoke Times and other publications.   The Roanoke Times pieces can be accessed at:
