Abstract

© OSA 2016. Joint inflammation plays a central role in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and is the main target of most therapeutic strategies. Vascular markers of RA were quantified using time-resolved NIRS and preliminary results show decreased oxyhemoglobin content in inflamed but not in healthy joints.
