About Kenneth P Brevoort

Kenneth Brevoort is an economist and the Section Chief of the Credit Information and Policy group in the Office of Research at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. His fields of interest include industrial organization, urban, rural, and regional economics, consumer finance, and credit scoring. Before joining the Office of Research, he served as Senior Economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, a Visiting Scholar at the Credit Research Center at the University of Edinburgh, and an Interim Economist at the Office of Homeownership Preservation at the U.S. Department of Treasury. He holds a B.A. in political science and an M.S. in economics from the University of Delaware and a Ph.D. in economics from Ohio State University.
