About Kay Shawchuck, MD, FACS

Dr. Kay Shawchuck is a breast surgeon, with a dedicated practice in the evaluation and care of patients with diseases of the breast and breast malignancy. She works closely with other medical specialists to provide multidisciplinary care of breast cancer.

She is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and is certified in Breast ultrasound, providing in office biopsy and diagnosis of breast disease.

She is committed to improving the quality of life of women with breast cancer, with effective surgical (onco) intervention, while maximizing cosmetic (plastic) results.

Dr. Shawchuck is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

She is a member of national and international surgical societies, and has given lectures on the surgical treatment of breast cancer at national and international meetings.

She is a Cancer Liaison with the American College of Surgeons and the American Cancer Society.
