Abstract

The article discusses William Shakespeare's All's Well That Ends Well and the multinational, multilingual realities of war. Topics include the views of sociologist R. Bruce W. Anderson on the translational activities that occur in social situations typically take the form of an interaction among actors, producer, interpreter, and consumer; and the kinship between interpreting and theatrical performance.
