Abstract

This talk was delivered at Superpod, the biennial conference of international orca advocates. It provides an overview my in-progress research on "the Blackfish effect," which refers to the significant gains in the animal justice movement related to the 2013 documentary. Here, I enlist the help of the community to share their rhetorical strategies and reflect on implications for modern activism.
