About Kathleen M. Webb

Kathleen M. Webb, M.L.S., has been Dean of University Libraries since 2006. In that capacity, she oversees the Roesch and Marian Libraries as well as the University Archives and Special Collections and the International Marian Research Institute. She served as interim Dean of Libraries in 2005 and directed the Libraries’ Client Services division from 1998 to 2005.
She has held leadership roles with local and regional library organizations including OhioLINK and the Government Documents Roundtable of Ohio. She worked at Sinclair Community College and the Dayton Metro Library before coming to the University in 1993.
She has written and presented on a variety of topics including website development, library technologies, and, most recently, on the use of academic library space and its impact on learning.
She is a liaison to the departments of Educational Leadership and Counselor Education and Human Services, selecting materials in support of the graduate programs in higher education administration, educational leadership, counseling, college student personnel, and related licensure programs.
