About Kathleen Kirk

Kate earned bachelor’s degrees in both philosophy and music at Valdosta State University (2008). For her master’s degree in musicology at Northern Arizona University (2011) she did fieldwork in Ghana. Kate has also studied in France, Italy, and Hungary and has taught ESL in Honduras. She has contributed to international education publications including The Native Foreigner, Melibee Global, Go Overseas, and Study in the USA. Kate has also presented at the annual conference for the Georgia Association of International Educators, and is a member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators. She currently works at the Georgia Tech Language Institute as a Designated School Official.
