About Kathleen C. Brown

Kathleen C. Brown is a Research Technician in the lab of Dr. Piyali Dasgupta. Researchers in Dasgupta’s lab explore how the various components of tobacco, especially nicotine, advance the progression of lung cancer.

As an undergraduate student Brown was awarded the Sigma-Xi Grants-in-Aid research grant from NASA, for the year 2009, for her research proposal “Nicotinic Receptor Signaling in Retinal Angiogenesis.”
