About Katherine Bobianski

Katherine Bobianski has been a full time Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts School of Nursing since 2012. She has a long history with the school, completing both the RN to BSN program and earning a Post-Master certificate in the family nurse practitioner program at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Prior to accepting a full-time faculty position, she previously taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Massachusetts from 2006 to 2012, overseeing community, public health, and outpatient pediatric courses.
Professor Bobianski began her nursing career as an RN, working in a variety of acute care settings. She focused primarily on providing nursing care in the Emergency Department for many years, in addition to holding several adjunct teaching posts at local colleges.
After obtaining her Advanced Practice Nursing License in 2000, Katherine worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in school, college and occupational health clinics. She currently maintains board certification as a family nurse practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Corporation and continues to to practice in community health in addition to her faculty position at the University.
