Book Review: Handbook of Chronic Kidney Disease Management
Kidney International
(2011)
Abstract
The Handbook of Chronic Kidney Disease Management focuses on practical aspects of managing patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). What sets this book apart from the rest is the remarkable scope and depth it achieves while still conveying a manageable amount of information. It is really more than just a handbook. I consider it a highly focused textbook, packaged in a convenient almost-pocket size. The topics span from basic renal physiology to coding and billing for clinical services. The content has a refreshingly global perspective that will appeal to readers worldwide.
