About Kate Myers-Coffman, PhD, MT-BC

I am a board-certified music therapist that aspires to center culturally humble and critically reflexive approaches to music therapy practice, pedagogy, and research. My work focuses on critical, inclusive, and accessible pedagogies; community-based, resource-oriented music therapy with youth who have experienced trauma and loss; suicide prevention in music therapy; and supporting LGBTQIA2+ students and music therapy service users.
