This report documents the findings of the sixth triennial National Assessment Program – Science Literacy (NAP–SL) assessment cycle. The NAP–SL assessment provides the basis on which national key performance measures (KPMs) can be reported and a mechanism for monitoring progress towards the Melbourne Declaration on Educational Goals for Young Australians (Melbourne Declaration).
