In Abrahamic religions, there are many different areas where certain beliefs or practices may intersect. This paper studies the intersection of fasting in Christianity and Islam. To fully understand fasting in each religion, this paper compares the primary sources of each faith, secondary sources, as well as the extent of modern-day practices.
