I have been working in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology since 2000. I have a wide range of experience in different aspects of nanotechnology ranging from synthesis, characterization, modeling and simulation of nanomaterials. I am absorbed by the field of computational mechanics and multiscale modeling. Although I have experience in characterization techniques such as AFM, PFM, and in situ microscopy, I am fascinated by the field of computational nanotechnology. I have developed a molecular dynamics (MD) code called KMD. Structural Approximation Method (SAM) which is a multiscale technique I proposed during my MS has also been implemented in KMD. I have also some experience on modeling of nanocomposites reinforced by nanomaterials such as carbon nanotubes, carbon nanohorns, and ZnO nano wires.
