About Karthik Srinivasan

Dr. Karthik Srinivasan joined Boise State University in 2023, and is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. and his M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. He earned his B.E. in electronics and communication engineering from Anna University. Srinivasan’s research is focused on functional complex-oxides (magneto-optical materials for zero-power passive photonics and magneto-electric materials for tunable mm-wave transceivers), photonic in-memory computing & non-volatile optical storage (phase change materials and non-binary information processing), chip-scale tunable mm-Wave/THz transceivers (non-reciprocal components), and ferrimagnetic & antiferromagnetic heterostructures for low angular momentum magnetic materials (for storage layer in MRAM and high-frequency magnetization dynamics).
