About Karlyn Green

Dr. Green serves as Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. She is an APTA board certified specialist in cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy and orthopedic physical therapy . She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science with a minor in psychology from University of California, Davis in 2005 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Mount St. Mary’s College, Los Angeles in 2008. Dr. Green completed a residency with HealthCare Partners/Kaiser Permanente for orthopedics and a residency with Duke University Hospital for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary conditions receiving specialization in both areas. Dr. Green is passionate about research that combines the orthopedic and cardiopulmonary disciplines but currently is conducting research with the patients who have received a heart transplant or have had left ventricular assist device implanted.
