Abstract
The authors summarize the commentaries that precede each chapter contained in the volumes, namely by John R. Mathiasson on the General Assembly, Tim Wall on the Economic and Social Council, Alexander K.A. Greenawalt on the International Court of Justice, Jacques Fomerand on the Security Council, and Khalil A. Hamdani on the Secretariat. Ms Amina Mohammed, Special Advisor to the United Nations Secretary-General, contributed the Foreword. The topics introduced include the newly emerging crisis, the continued fight against terrorism, and the consultations and negotiations to arrive at a set of Sustainable Development Goals.
