English Abstract: Over the last forty years, China’s economic growth and rates of FDI have vastly outstripped India’s. As India seeks to boost foreign investment with its “Make in India” campaign, this perspective considers the possible lessons from China’s experience and recommends matching regulatory reform with coordinated investment promotion.

Chinese Abstract: 过去四十年，中国的经济增长和FDI率都远超印度。在印度开展“印度制造”计划促进国外投资的同时，这篇文章探讨了可供借鉴的中国经验并建议将监管改革与协调的投资促进相匹配。
